They are known for their delicious cakes, but I also recommend grabbing one of their decadent and delicious cinnamon buns. Plus, they have high tea, and I don’t know about you, but I like feeling fancy and getting it whenever possible.

The bakery is slightly hidden from the crowds but still easy to find. And besides the delicious desserts – the Art of Cake serves up amazing live music. They have dedicated live music evenings that offer a special menu filled with a night of incredible entertainment from Edmonton musicians.

I recommend getting a piece of one of their iconic cakes, but they also do amazing cheesecake, cream puffs, cupcakes and more.

Sugared and Spiced is one of Edmonton’s best-kept secrets, and I recommend you find it and get one of the best desserts you’ve ever tasted. I recommend the lemon bars and the s’more square, as it perfectly combines marshmallow and chocolate, leaving you wanting more.

Alas, these folks make incredible pastries. They have the best cakes, and their service is impeccable…they are all so friendly and helpful.

The lemon bars are SO good; get the cookies – so much more than a chocolate chip cookie!

From the moment we stepped inside, the service at Sugared & Spiced was inviting and friendly. The staff made us feel welcome, adding to the overall positive experience.

If you have ever taken a ghost tour in Edmonton, then you will know about the ghosts that haunt Sugared and Spiced. However, don’t worry if you are scared of ghosts though! You will be safe being surrounded by the delicious baking featured at the Old Strathcona bakery.

Not only are the donuts to die for – but the atmosphere of Doughnut Party will brighten your day. The staff are incredibly friendly and charming. I really love how each donut looks like a little piece of art – topped perfectly and blending the flavours together, making each donut a taste sensation.

So, if you are a donut enthusiast, head down to Doughnut Party in Edmonton’s Brewery District. I recommend trying the Undercover Strawberry, which is an apple fritter that comes complete with a strawberry jam centre and drizzled in chocolate.

The next time you are at West Edmonton Mall, I recommend popping into Choco N’ Dip. They have the best-tasting mini pancakes, fruit cups and DIPPED CHEESECAKE STICKS! It’s so exciting I had to capitalize it so you know how good they are.

The dipped cheesecake is my favourite – they are customizable, and Choco N’ Dip offers a wide array of dips, sauces and toppings. They are delicious, and you won’t find them anywhere else in the city.

I also recommend the mini pancakes. It is fun to watch them make the sweet treats and taste fantastic. I recommend topping them with the Lotus biscoff sauce – it will knock your socks off.

The desserts are delicious and affordable, so if you visit West Edmonton Mall, stop by and try all of their desserts.

12. Cake & Dessert Cafe (CND cafe)

Are you looking for a laid-back and cozy dessert place in Edmonton? CND Café is the place to visit. They have several Korean-inspired desserts, including the Jerry cake, which is a cheese-shaped cheesecake!

This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem with a warm and cozy interior. I recommend trying the honey bread, the jerry cake, and the mango bingsu.

If you are looking for a good place to study – I recommend heading to CND with your laptop, grabbing a carrot cake and spending the next few hours chilling and getting your work done.

Destination Doughnuts – Destination Doughnuts is home to some of Edmonton’s most delicious and unique donuts. They have both sweet and savoury options available. I highly recommend trying the Crème Brûlée and the Triple Play, a chocolate-dipped donut covered in potato chips!

Cinnaholic – Cinnaholic is a plant-based bakery with the best cinnamon buns in Edmonton. What makes them even better is they are totally customizable! I also recommend the peach cobbler roll and lemonberry coffee cake.

Teapsy Lab – Do you love bubble tea? Teapsy Labs has a bubble tea-inspired dessert menu and some of Edmonton’s best bubble tea. I recommend trying the Teapsy Classic Ice Cream Waffle.

Malina Bakery – Malina Bakery is home to Edmonton’s most amazing Ukrainian desserts and treats. The blueberry lemon bun and blueberry bun are so delicious and should be on your list the next time you visit.
